Update 10/4/16

I know, I know. I’m the worst at keeping up with this blog. I’ve jus been having so many bad days with my Hashimotos. Plus, I’m just getting over a sinus infection that I’ve had for like a month. I finally went to the doctor for it last week and he gave me an antibiotic for it. For the most part I’m feeling better.

Birthday

My dad’s birthday was on September 17th. All he wanted to do was walk around the flea market and then have dinner at my brother’s house. We only got to walk around the flea market for about an hour and a half because I had to go into work for a couple of appointments. I was able to find some good treasures though:

My favorite is the Venus de Milo statue. It was basically free. I do the owner’s hair and instead of paying me, she gives me store credit. I only do that with her because I love her store and I already shopped there way before I started doing her hair. I already owned The Proposal (my favorite movie btw), my dad borrowed it and misplaced it. He said he gave it back, but I recently just cleaned out my room very thoroughly and did not find it. Oh well it was only like a dollar so I bought it again. the complete 1st season of Fringe was only $6. I found out why when I started watching it. It skips a lot, but not too much that I can’t still enjoy it.

After my appointments, we drove out to my brother’s for din din. We had hamburgers and I got to spend some time with my cute nephew.

Mabon

I didn’t really do much for Mabon. I was still feeling gross from my sinus infection. I did set up a little outside altar and gave thanks.

Dog Sitting

I did some dog sitting for my neighbor. Her dogs are weird, but cute. They’re also super cuddly.

Skateboarding

My brother took my 3 year old nephew to the skate park. He had bought him a skateboard for his birthday last year.

Another Birthday

It was also my Gangy’s birthday last month. Alright, she’s not really my Gangy. She’s actually a neighbor that I take care of while her daughter is out of town. Her daughter does dog shows and is gone for several days at a time. While she’s gone, I’ll go over and cook breakfast and dinner for her mother (my “Gangy”). She can do everything else by herself, she’s just partially blind and can’t see the numbers on the stove/microwave. I call her my Gangy because she’s a lot nicer than my real one. Anyway, her daughter invited me to go out to lunch with them for her birthday. We went to Pisces Rising in Mount Dora. It was over priced for small portions of sub-par food. Good thing I wasn’t paying! It sure was a beautiful day though.

Well that’s how my September went. I’m excited that October is here. I can’t wait until Samhain/Halloween.
